Budapest

Nuestro segundo destino fue Budapest. Probablemente en mi lista de destinos a los que ir tenía más ganas de Budapest que de Viena, pero al dejar Viena tenía la sensación que todo lo que fuera a ver después me iba a decepcionar pero en el primer paseo nocturno (anoche a las 3 de la tarde) ya me di cuenta de que no iba a ser así. Es una ciudad absolutamente maravillosa, no tan imponente y majestuosa como Viena pero sí muy espectacular y mucho más tranquila (lo cual agradecimos). Al día siguiente sacamos estas fotos desde el Castillo de Pest desde donde había unas vistas preciosas de toda la ciudad al quedar en alto. Ese día teníamos la esperanza de no ver la nieve pero llegó otra vez por la noche, sobra decir que las medias que llevaba eran térmicas y que, aunque en la maleta iban otras zapatillas de lana merina, al final el único calzado que me puse fueron estas botas de nieve. Recuerdo cuando las compré en la nevada tan brutal que tuvimos en la Navidad del 20-21 que me parecieron muy caras y realmente lo fueron pero las veces que las he necesitado me han salvado la vida.

Our second destination was Budapest. When I was organizing this trip I thought that I really wanted to visit Budapest, even more than Vienna but after leaving Vienna I was afraid I wasn't going to love Budapest. After our first walk in the first night I realized that I wasn't going to be like Vienna, so elegant but it was a gorgeous city as well and more calm (what was great, by the way). We took these pictures the next day from the Pest Castle where you have an amazing views from the top of the city. Of course I was wearing termal tights and of course it snowed that night. I put in my luggage another wintery sneakers but the only boots I wore in this trip were my snow boots. I bought them in the big snow during Christmas 20-21 and I thought they were really expensive but at the end I don't use them a lot but they're perfect when I need them.
